Two ULiège researchers on the list of French-speaking women "leaders in global health"

Oriane Bodson and Elisabeth Paul, two researchers from the Faculty of Social Sciences of ULiège (Service Economie politique et économie de la santé) are on the list of 200 Francophone women "leaders in global health".

he work of Elisabeth Paul and Oriane Bodson has caught the attention of Canadian researchers at the initiative of this list, which aims to make women's research on international health policy more visible.

Senior lecturer at ULiège and lecturer at the ULB School of Public Health, Elisabeth Paul is currently leading a research project ARC (Actions de Recherche Concertées) which deals with universal health coverage in two African countries, Benin and Senegal. Coordinated by Fabienne Fecher (Faculty of Social Sciences) and involving academics from other faculties, this project is studying how to increase health coverage for African populations.

Oriane Bodson is completing her doctoral thesis on performance-based financing approaches to health services in Benin and Senegal.
