Biographie

I am a social and cognitive psychologist with a strong interest in understanding collective memory and its influence on society. I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Liège in 2024, where I combined behavioral research and natural language processing to explore how collective memories and future thoughts are influenced by the passage of time, aging and self-relevance. Currently, I work as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Political Sciences Faculty of the University of Louvain-la-Neuve, focusing on interdisciplinary research on the Rwandan Genocide and the French colonization of Algeria. My research examines the role of group identities in shaping collective memory, investigating how these identities affect perceptions of both past events and future possibilities. By integrating past and future temporalities, I aim to uncover the dynamic interplay between memory and societal transformation.
